How can I support my SEND child with toilet training?

Toilet training is tricky for all pupils but particularly for those with an additional need.

We will support parents with toilet training. We advise that parents try to toilet teach over a school holiday time.

Parents could choose to follow the advice of Bowel and Bladder UK and ERIC websites.

If parents require further support, parents can self-refer to the School Nurse and ask for support from Continence Services.
