Reading Champions 2024 - 2025
At Boundary, reading is our passion and we share that passion with all our pupils and staff. We know that students who read develop greater understanding of the world in which they live, learn to appreciate how writers use language for effect and extend their vocabulary. To recognise the effort our children show in developing their reading we are proud to launch Boundary Reading Champions.
To be a Boundary Reading Champion you need to:
- Read your book three times a week and have this checked in your reading record by a teacher or TA.
- Look after your book, keep it clean and show us you take care of it
- Be able to talk about the characters, the story, the facts and any interesting information you learn
At the end of each half term, those children who have read three times a week for the whole half term will be provided with a reading champion badge.
