We talked about the importance of active listening not just when adults are speaking but when our friends and adults at home are too! Finally, we put our skills to the test. In pairs, one person had 2 minutes to tell their partner facts about themselves or about their day so far; while this was happening the listener had to show their active listening skills (and ask any clarifying or probing questions).
