Year 5 - No Pen Morning

For 'No Pen Morning' this term, pupils in year 5 completed maths and writing activities without using a pen or pencil, or mark making of any kind. In maths, we returned to prior learning about Roman numerals and place value. The pupils completed a tri-puzzle, matching numbers to the Roman numerals of the same value, and also matching equivalent fractions. In Reading into Writing, the children published a piece of writing using Google docs, which helps to develop their word processing skills and speed up their typing!
