Year 5 - Miracles

In R.E., we’ve had an exciting time exploring the miracles of Jesus and how they relate to our lives today. We kicked things off by talking about what we consider miracles, like a sports team’s comeback, and discussed whether miracles are linked to fate or chance. We also went on a pilgrimage (well, sort of!) by learning about the journeys and holy sites important to Christianity. We even packed suitcases and explored why these pilgrimages are significant. After some hands-on activities, we solidified our learning through discussions and interactive tools. We then tested our knowledge with a fun debate on whether miracles are too impossible to believe in. Finally, we reflected on everything we’ve learned and shared our thoughts and feelings on miracles. It’s been an insightful and thought-provoking journey!
