Year 4 - Art Day

To start Art Day off we were lucky enough to take part in an Art themed Primary Future event. We had 5 attendees and we asked them:

• Do you need to wear a uniform?
• Do you ever work outside?
• Did you have to go to college and/or university?
• Do you work with children?
• Do you travel in your job?
• Do you need specialist equipment?

Once each volunteer answered the questions we had a guess at what their job was. There were some great guesses! Then is was revealed that we had a graphic designer, UX designer, painting conservator, tattoo artist and an upcycling artist. Their jobs sounded super interesting and it was great to speak to them. Afterwards, we researched some more about their jobs.

In the afternoon, we had a Blackpool theme based around Photomontage (collage). We used our cutting and collaging skills to create a beach scene from pictures of food and drink which you might eat at the beach.
