Year 3 - 1, 10, 100 More and Less

We have been working on finding 1, 10 and 100 more than any given number up to 1000.  We have been using the place value counters to help us see what changes when we subtract or add these amounts and what stays the same.We looked for patterns when adding and subtracting 10 and 100 and we noticed that the ones digit will always stay the same when adding or subtracting 10 or 100. "I've noticed that they all have 6 in the ones column." - Jamaal
