This half term in RE, Year 2 have been learning about  Jesus and how he is the ‘Light of the World’. 

 

Today, the children made Christingles to learn all about the meaning of Christmas and to understand the symbolism of light for Christians. At the end of the day, we all went into the Dance Studio to have our very own Christingle service, where we listened to some Christmas songs and lit our Christingles. What an amazing, humbling experience to share with each other.
