Year 1 Remembrance Day

Today, alongside the rest of the school, Year 1 learnt about Remembrance Day and the importance of this day. During the morning we enjoyed planting our poppies in our Remembrance Garden and taking part in our Remembrance Service. We were also lucky enough to look at some very special medals that Miss Raw showed us. These medals belonged to Miss Raws dad, who was a soldier in the war.
