Welcome to Year 1!

We have had a fantastic few days back in our new Year 1 classes! We are very proud of how well our children have adapted to the new routines in school. We have enjoyed hearing about what children have been up to over summer and how much they have been looking forward to coming back to school!

This week we have been getting used to the new routines in Year 1 and settling back into school life. We have also taken part in lots of activites, both indoors and outdoors! We have read 'The Colour Monster,' labelled the characters, retold the story, practised counting and recognising numbers, build models in our construction area and explored different ways to move in our outdoor obstacle course!
