Over the next 2 weeks the children in Reception will be participating in the Reception Baseline Assessment.  These assessments will be delivered by your child's class teacher during the school day.  The assessment is made up of two components and assesses children's early skills in mathematics and literacy, communication and language.  Your child's class teacher will use the information from the assessments to plan and deliver sessions pitched at the correct level for each individual child.  Please read the attached leaflet for additional information.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to either Mrs Clark or Mrs Farley.  Many thanks.
