In science, we continued our learning about forces by investigating levers and pulleys. We learned that a lever can help you move a heavy object with less effort. Paint tins were opened, nails removed from wood and bottle caps removed - all with the help of everyday objects that act as levers. The children were even able to lift Mr Jones off the floor, after working out that moving the fulcrum closer to the load would make it easier!
