This week the KS2 Anit-Bullying Ambassadors went toHighfield Academy to complete some training with the Diana Award.  The children reflected on why being any Anti-Bullying Ambassador is important to them and what they wanted to learn more about.  The morning focused on the children looking at the different characteristics of an Anti-Bullying Ambassador and the different types of bullying they might come across on the playground and learnt about the role of the bystander, perpetrator and the target.  They learnt about verbal, indirect and physical bullying and explored some different scenarios.  In groups the children explored potential signs of someone being a target of bullying behaviour and what to do if someone approaches them.  The afternoon focused on different badges that they children can work towards to further develop their understanding.  What a great day the children had!
