The children of Boundary Primary School, send our condolences to HM The Queen and the Royal Family. 

The Duke of Edinburgh was a remarkable man who, throughout his life, upheld the British Values that now weave through our school curriculum and help us to become responsible and respectful citizens who contribute positively to society. His public service, patronage and charitable work reflect the value of Democracy. A consort to HM The Queen, a successful career in the Royal Navy, commitment to every branch of service life, sporting achievements and his Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme all highlight the Rule of Law. His childhood taught him the values of self reliance, an aspect of Individual Liberty, whilst  his commitment to the Commonwealth clearly demonstrated Mutual  Respect and Tolerance of other Faiths and Beliefs. 

It is through these values we will remember him as we prepare for life in modern Britain.
