Year 3 - Music

We started our Music learning in Year 3 by recapping the Elements of Music.  We reminded ourselves of the key vocabulary: tempo, allegro, adagio, texture and melody.

We then listened to a country song called 'Home is where the heart is' and used the listening mats to help us describe what we could hear.  We also compared it with the Dolly Parton piece, 'Jolene'.

The next part of our journey will be focusing on pitch and structure as we learn to sing 'Home is where the heart is'.
