Wednesday 8th April

Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves

It will soon be Easter! Watch and listen to the video about The Story of Easter and why Christians celebrate it. Draw a cross on a hill and talk about the story? Don’t forget to use the new words you have learnt, such as “Jesus”, “cross”, “crucify” “tomb”. Label your picture and write a simple sentence such as, ‘The cross is on the hill’.

Remember to say your sentence before you write it and then sound out each letter of the word as you write. Your sound mat will help you with your letter sounds and your handwriting sheet will help you form your letters correctly when writing. Also, don’t forget to hold your pencil correctly too!

Watch the Number Blocks and learn how to add together two single digit number from 1-9. Use your number cards and objects from around the house to help you. Write the number sentences in your home learning book, for example 2+3=5. Don’t forget to use the mathematical words “add” and “equals”!
