     Morning Home Learning Activities

Morning Maths – Watch step 9 ‘Unit Fractions’ video on the White Rose website (Click Here). Then complete the directed task called ‘Tuesday 7th April Non Unit Fractions’ on seesaw in your Maths Home Learning Book.

English Writing – It’s Superhero week for Year 2, there’s going to be many missions heading their way. Firstly, Boundary need some more Superheroes to work alongside Boundary’s existing Superhero called ‘Super Learner’. Today you’re going to design and create your own Superhero to join the team.

First you need to make your superhero puppet, on  Seesaw click on the task called ‘Superhero Puppet Making’ and follow the instructions.

Next you’re going to explain who you’re Superhero is and what magnificent powers they have. On  Seesaw click on ‘Tuesday 7th April -Superhero WAGOLL’ Here you will find a WAGOLL, word bank and questions to help you structure your description of your superhero.

Guided Reading – Please login into Seesaw and click the activity called ‘Tuesday 7th April – Guided Reading’ then record your written task in your home learning book.

Afternoon Activities

Handwriting – Watch a video (Click Here) explaining how to write using a cursive handwriting style. In your English Home Learning book, write today’s date Tuesday 7th April 2020. LO: Handwriting practise. Login into seesaw and complete the task ‘Tuesday 7th April – Handwriting practise using the correct tense’. Don’t forget to join all your letters.

Chosen 1 afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list provided in your Home Learning pack. Don’t forget to take a picture of what you did and upload it on Seesaw for us to see.
