Tuesday 31st March
Here is today’s Learning at Home. Remember, to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves
Good morning Year 3, we hope you are ready for some great activities today! Please follow the guidance below and if you have any problems, you can email Mrs Mason or Miss Wooding and they will be happy to help.
Seesaw – You have 3 new activities this morning. The first activity is to plan and write a ‘spooky story’. Think back to our ‘mystery story’ writing. Can you remember the types of words we used to describe our setting? Words like terrifying, creepy, ancient, mysterious. Think about the ‘problem’ and ‘solution’ in your story. Perhaps someone gets trapped inside a spooky house and needs rescuing. How are they rescued? Your second activity is What I Want To Be When I Grow Up. Think about your dream job. Why do you want that job? What skills will you need? What will you need to wear in your job? Your final activity is a bit more work on pictograms. Look at the graph carefully and answer the questions. There is also a challenge attached on the picture below if you want to push yourself further.
Spelling Shed – You have been set new challenges for spellings and maths today – please spend at least 30 minutes on each one. See how high you can get your score this week!
Kids Zone – Please access Kids Zone on the school website – You can find it by going to ‘pupils’ in the green box at the top, scrolling down to ‘kids zone’ – from here please go to ‘science’ and then down to ‘Switched on Kids’. Here, you can learn all about electricity and play fun games.
Reading – You can now finish off your day with a good book. Pick one from your collection at home or access an eBook at oxfordowl.co.uk. Share your reading with someone at home and talk about it together.
