Wake up and shake up. Click here to dance along to Move and Freeze

Phonics – Log on to seesaw and play todays hidden phonics game. Move the magnifying glass and around the puzzle to reveal the hidden words. Voice record each word you find. Challenge – can you use each word in a written sentence? Write your sentence in your busy book.

Writing – Listen to the story The tiger who came to tea (Click here). Can you guess which Boundary teacher his reading the story?

Log on to seesaw to complete the activities. 

Draw pictures to retell what happened at the beginning, middle and end of the story. Voice record on seesaw to tell me about your pictures.

Design a tin of tiger food, you can do this on seesaw or in your busy book.

Can you write a list of all the things the tiger ate in the story?

Challenge – can you make a tiger mask? Take a photo and share it on seesaw

Maths – click here to play basket ball place value Count the cubes and find the correctly numbered basketball. 

Log on to seesaw and complete the 1 more and 1 less challenge, Pick any number between 1 and 100, write the number that is one more and also 1 less. Can you voice record and explain how you worked out your answers?

Afternoon Reading – Log in to oxford owls and read one of your books. Record yourself on seesaw telling us what you did or did not like about the book and why. Parents you can log onto Oxford Owl and create an account – it is free. Then search for E books, and choose phonics level 2, 3 or 5 depending on you child. Your child’s phonics level is also in the letter information pack you received.

Chosen afternoon activity – Choose your own activity from the list and complete it in your busy book. Feel free to send us any pictures on seesaw of your learning.

In addition to the above, we are also adding daily challenge tasks to seesaw which I know a lot of you are enjoying completing. We love seeing your videos, pictures and completed work – Please keep sending them to us. Completing any work on Seesaw allows us to provide feedback on how you have done and give possible next steps. This is working really well.
