Safeguarding children is central to our school policies and practice.

We believe in creating and maintaining a healthy, safe and enjoyable learning environment for all children. Boundary Primary School has a duty of care to its pupils and will take reasonable action to ensure the welfare and safety of its pupils.

All our staff are legally obliged to follow up any concerns they may have around safeguarding and child protection.

Our main nominated Safeguarding / Child Protection staff are:
Designated Safeguarding Lead      Mrs N Bunday
Designated Safeguarding Officer   Mrs L Anderson
 Safeguarding Officer                      Miss Savage
Additional Designated Safeguarding Leads are Miss Ashton and Miss Moyes

Boundary Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers and external agencies to comply with our policies.  All staff and volunteers must undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Staff are provided with ID which should be worn at all times. Staff and Visitors must sign in using the Inventory system on arrival and remember to sign out when leaving the building. This is for purposes of security and fire safety procedures. All visitors to the school are given a ‘Visitor’ lanyard to wear. Any person not wearing a lanyard should be politely challenged.

We want parents to be informed about keeping children safe.
