Safeguarding
Safeguarding children is central to our school policies and practice
At Boundary Primary School, safeguarding our children is central to our school policies and practice and we take this role very seriously. We work closely with the Children’s safeguarding assurance partnership to ensure that all our staff have up-to-date safeguarding training, including Safer Recruitment. We have a clear procedure within school for reporting any concerns about pupils, which are followed up in a timely manner and are fully explained in our safeguarding policy. All of our actions and information is recorded on a system called MyConcern. Occasionally, we will need to seek advice from the Duty social worker or safeguarding advice line.
By working closely together within school and in partnership with local services we confidently believe that we will continue to offer a safe environment for all our children to achieve the best education.
All of our staff have a responsibility to safeguard our children and report any concerns to our safeguarding team immediately.

Boundary Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff, volunteers and external agencies to comply with our policies. All staff and volunteers must undertake an enhanced DBS check.
Staff are provided with ID which should be worn at all times. Staff and Visitors must sign in using the Inventory system on arrival and remember to sign out when leaving the building. This is for purposes of security and fire safety procedures. All visitors to the school are given a ‘Visitor’ lanyard to wear. Any person not wearing a lanyard should be politely challenged.
Please take the time to read our policies and do not hesitate to contact Mrs Anderson (Designated Safeguarding Officer) should you have any questions about safeguarding at Boundary Primary School.
