Monday 8th June – Home Learning

Good morning Year 3!

Welcome back from half term Bracken and Fern.

Here is today’s home learning. Remember to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves

You all have log in details that are inside the front cover of your home learning book or on the letter we sent out for your My Maths log in.

Try and start your day with Joe Wicks PE workout on his YouTube channel at 9am. If you fancy something different this morning, why not try working out with the Nutty Squirrels here. It’s super important to stay active.

  1. Maths – For this term, you are going to be completing your Maths learning on My Maths – your login details were sent out before we broke up. There are a range of activities that need to be completed daily, this week we will focus on number and place value.
  2. Reading into Writing – Today’s task is about compound sentences. You can complete the activity on SeeSaw or in your Home Learning Book – remember to send a picture of your work to us using our teacherbracken or teacherfern email addresses if you complete it in your Home Learning Book!
  3. Computing – This week we will be doing Computing. Watch the Newsround Special about Cyberbullying. It might be a good idea to make some notes because the information will be useful to you in tomorrow’s task (and the rest of the week).
  4. We would also like you to complete the daily activity on Spelling Shed and to use Oxford Owls to read a book of your choice!

And remember if you still have time, find somewhere quiet and curl up with your book.
