Wednesday 22nd April

Use the link below to listen to the story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’  Talk to a grown up about the characters in the story. Who is your favourite character and why? What happens when Jack’s mum throws the beans out of the window?  Can you draw your own magic beanstalk? Can you describe it e.g. tall, magical, huge, green leaves. What does your magic beanstalk lead to? Who might you meet?  Write some words or a few sentences to tell me about your beanstalk.  Remember to use your sound mat to sound out any tricky word.  If you are writing a sentence don’t forget capital letters, finger spaces and a full stop at the end of your sentence.

Measure some objects around your house. Which is the longest? Which is the shortest? Can you put them in order from shortest to longest.  Take a picture and send it to us.  Follow the link to play the measuring game https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/measuring-in-cm

Don’t forget to pick an activity to complete from the afternoon activity grid.  We look forward to seeing your work.
