Home Learning – Wednesday 20th May
Good morning Year 3!
Here is today’s home learning. Remember to try your best! We believe in you! #BoundaryBelieves
You all have log in details that are inside the front cover of your home learning book or on the letter we sent out for your My Maths log in.
Try and start your day with Joe Wicks PE workout on his YouTube channel at 9am. If you fancy something different this morning, why not try these tennis themed games here. It’s super important to stay active.
- Maths – For this term, you are going to be completing your Maths learning on My Maths – your login details were sent out before we broke up. There are a range of activities that need to be completed daily, this week we will focus on telling the time.
- Reading into Writing – Today you will be writing your own simple sentences about something you have done during lockdown. You can complete the activity on SeeSaw or in your Home Learning Book – remember to send a picture of your work to us using our teacherbracken or teacherfern email addresses if you complete it in your Home Learning Book!
- Science – Today, we will be conducting the celery experiment. Follow the link and watch the lady, who will be carrying it out. Was your prediction right? What happened to the food colouring? Where did the food colouring go?
Answer the questions either on SeeSaw or in your home learning books. Remember to post your work either on SeeSaw or send a photograph to your teachers email.
- We would also like you to complete the daily activity on Spelling Shed and to use Oxford Owls to read a book of your choice!
And remember if you still have time, find somewhere quiet and curl up with your book.
