1W Forest School

1W made some fantastic clay creatures in the sunshine. They made worms, snails, a woodlouse and a ladybird. Joseph made a spider and used twigs for the legs. The will look great when they are painted. We just have to wait for the clay to dry!
This week it was year one’s turn to take part in a Forest School session. We built a shelter in the sunshine which was tricky but we helped each other and managed to sit underneath it! We then collected twigs to make some Woodland wind chimes. We painted them in bright colours, tied a thread around each one and then hung them in the trees.
Next time you outside listen carefully as the wind knocks them together. What does it sound like?
